The Thermo 500 is the latest pulsed shortwave to our range and exceeds market requirements, with digital controls, fully variable pulsed width & pulse frequencies it will deliver the treatment you require for your patients. With 2 channels it will allow the user to treat two seperate area’s with different settings. The built in memory and preset programs also allow the unit to be menu driven, with 38 scientifically proven indications it will met all your pulsed shortwave requirements.

. Non-thermal and thermal treatments.
. Thermoplodes: These special induction electrodes ensure an optimal penetrative effect; no energy is absorbed into the superficial adipose tissue. The Thermoplodes are equipped with a highly technological faraday screen, which prevents interference with other appliances.
. Indication list and memory capacity: 38 scientifically proven indications / pre-programmed indications.
. Control of the energy transfer: The Thermo 500 is equipped with an automatic system that monitors the energy transfer to the patient. As soon as an electrode is not in the optimum treatment position anymore, the treatment time pauses and the unit produces an acoustic and a visual signal.

This new pulsed shortwave offers a wide range of pulse frequencies and pulse widths and a large range of applicators, rigid or malleable. The malleable electrodes are enclosed within felt making application simple, with straps to secure to joints etc.

Rigid electrodes are supplied as standard with the unit, plus a choice of 2 sized Inductive applicators to offer the widest range of treatments possible.

The SW-180 Shortwave is supplied as standard with 2 x Condenser electrodes (135mm), test tube, treatment guide & user manual.
